The Temple of the Emerald Buddha

Wat Phra Kaew, known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, stands behind a 1900 metre long crenellated wall within the Grand Palace complex. It consists of over 100 brightly colored buildings, golden spires and glittering mosaics, and dates back to 1782, when Bangkok was founded. When you enter the compound, you first of all see Wat Phra Kaew and the nearby attractions, and then move on to the Grand Palace afterwards.

There are so many people visiting here, it's quite difficult to get photos without people in them or trying to avoid getting into other peoples photos, but here a few I took during my visit.
